Supported Manufacturer Readers
TagNet supports a growing number of Reader manufacturers and is shipped with specific 'handlers' to enable communication with those given hardware platforms. The purpose of this function is to allow customers to view which Manufacturer models are supported and their operating capabilities..png)

Each row represents a supported RFID Reader for the selected Manufacturer
Model Identifier: – The Reader ID assigned by TagNet Model: – The description of the Reader Model Comm Channel: – The type of communications assigned to this reader (either Socket or Serial). Socket indicates reader is an IP based device. Remote enabled: – Can the given Reader model operate remotely without Server intervention? This is typically for those readers that have an imbedded OS allowing them to be ‘smart’ readers. Status: – The current status of the Reader Model. |
