Binding Description

Decommission Tag in TagNet

Purpose

This Binding decommissions tags seen at tag disposal reader station. This is typically used when incorrect or an overage of SmartLabel tags are printed and they need to be removed from TagNet otherwise they misrepresent real inventory. The Binding uses GPIO script and ADAM I/O controller to turn on certain stack light conditions.

Logic

Collects whatever tags are seen during a read event cycle at a given RFID portal and performs the following logic:

üDeletes the Tag Mapping and Tag Location Inventory from TagNet

üCurrently when seeing any tag whether mapped or not the result is (MATCH) condition. This would typically turn on Green stack light indicating tag was seen and processed.
