Binding Description

Extract Transactions in LOCIH to flat file

Purpose

This Binding extracts inventory transactions from TagNet and formats into the Clear Spider (hosted VMI Inventory) text file format. This is run on a scheduled basis using the TagNet Scheduled Task Manager.

Logic

At selected intervals as specified by the Scheduled Task Manager (typically every 10 minutes), this function performs the following logic:

üSelects all unprocessed inventory transactions in RFDLOCIH (where RFDHSTFLG = ' '), and then looking at Clear Spider transaction type X-reference file RFDEXTRN sorts transactions by Employee Badge / Transaction Type and outputs to Text file as shown further below.

üUpdates each processed LOCIH transaction set (where RFDHSTFLG = ' Y)

üSends out file executing the Command prompt directive of C:\TagNet\rfid\sp5500\tagnet_send_extract.bat

Restrictions

Not intended to be used with any Reader Schedule, it is a standalone binding function independent of Reader activity

	Execute Command
	Executes the DOS command string at the end of the binding to send out file. The Clear Spider executable (SP5500.exe) is embedded in the .BAT file.

Clear Spider Transactions

The below table holds the transaction type mapping between TagNet and Clear Spider. The ‘From’ and ‘To’ locations are the last levels in the Ellsworth location matrix and will create a CS record type as shown during the extract.
