Binding Description

Extract Transactions in LOCIH to flat file

 

Purpose

This Binding extracts inventory transactions from TagNet and formats into CSV text file format.  This can be run on a scheduled basis using the TagNet Scheduled Task Manager. The layout is adapted to customers using the EPQ module of TagNet when using the TagTrack Lift truck module. The first Tag Mapping event provides the subscribing system to know the mapping thus every subsequent transaction does not include the object details (just the TagID).

 

Note that a new REST API Transaction extract capability can now be utilized in the TagNet Extension framework (setup as a Job schedule). 

 

Logic

At selected intervals as specified by the Scheduled Task Manager (e.g. every hour), this function performs the following logic:

üSelects all unprocessed inventory transactions in RFDLOCIH (where RFDHSTFLG = ' ') and outputs to CSV file as shown further below.

üUpdates each processed LOCIH transaction set (where RFDHSTFLG = ' Y)

üAppends records to the output file and creates a archive for every extract
